The weekend in the English Premier League had much focus on the titanic clash between the wonder team Liverpool and makeshift Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, the gunners home grounds. Nothing was able to separate the two rivals as Liverpool twice battled from the back to share a point with Arsenal in a 2-2 draw.
All roads in England led to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon as all eyes that follow EPL across the world focused on this much-hyped clash. The game lived to expections especially in the first half where Bukayo Saka had an early goal in the first 10 minutes by firing an effort into the net after tied Andy Robertson in knots in the area.
As the match continued in the first half, Arsenal made another attempt and had a goal from the short of Gabriel Martinelli but got disallowed by Anthony Taylor (refree) as an offside, waving away their appeals for VAR check.

They eventually broke down makeshift Arsenal backline in the dying minutes and Mo Salah with a good composure in the gunners' box secored a goal to give Liverpool an equalizer.
No other goal came in the last 10 minutes and both sides could not find a win. According to Flashcore, Declan Rice of Arsenal was man of the match.
The result after the match maintains Liverpool's four-point lead over Arsenal on the league table, although both sides ultimately lose ground on league leaders Manchester City in the weekend.
