In the article "You're the Light of the World," it was realized that being a light of the world is allowing the good works within you to be seen by all men. Making yourself significant to the world.
How do you let your light shine in the world?
1. Acknowledge the source:
Light gives life, and to be a light is to give hope and life to men. You must let your light (good work) in you shine and glorify your creator while being a blessing to your world.
Every light has a source, and a light cannot be seen unless its source is recognized. There is a source to your life, and in order to illuminate the world, you must acknowledge it.
Without giving thanks to the one who gave you life, you cannot bring forth light or make the good acts that are inside you visible.
The source of man's life is God. For our light to shine and enlighten our planet, God must be given the highest priority in our life.
Possess both abstract and concrete knowledge on what light you carry. What you know is an advantage to brighten the world. Without knowing the good works in you, you will abuse them.

Have understanding about your light. Your light can be a gift; seek knowledge on it from those who have possessed such light before or are still carrying the torch. Knowledge will help you know your limitations and navigation system for the light.

After possessing working knowledge on your light, let it shine. Put on the good works in you. Let your gift, potential, and ability within you begin to benefit the world. Let your light begin shining from where you are to the ends of the world.
Do not put your light off; let it shine. Spark your candle, put it on it's stick, and let it give glory to the world and your source.

When light falls on an obstacle, it forms a dark layer on the other side of the obstacle where light should have been. Any obstacle that will come between your light and the world will prevent your light from reaching the world. Therefore, remove every obstacle that will come your way.
Obstacles here are things that will prevent the good works within you from reaching out to men. They can be self-imposed or encountered from an external environment.

Obstructions that take you away from your light, that slow down your speed, and interfere with your blazing power must be dealt with.

5. Maintain the light; keep fueling.
Your light will impact the world and make a difference by sustaining it for long. You must have your light shining throughout your life to make it a legacy.
Your light must continue shining after you. Generations yet unborn must come and enjoy your light. The light of salvation by Jesus keeps on affecting lives years after his ascension.
You must be the same as Christ. You must maintain your light by fueling it. You fuel your light by continuously doing the good works. Do not stop after you've lit the candle.
Have a surviving character for your career (your light). Do what keeps your light ahead and on top of your space.
